Yes, I know it's Wednesday, it's hump day, it's get your packages wrapped & packed & shipped, it's Christmas time (note to self).  And being my favorite time of year, I am going to share my Friday post a little bit early & wish you ALL a very Merry Christmas until after our Christmas celebration.  We have Christmas at my house, with my wee babes and family & friends, Christmas parties, Christmas programs & basketball this weekend & I NEED to finish up everything.  I do not like to take a break from my blog, but it is time, until after Christmas.  I wish I could send you, ALL, a Christmas card, I wish I had EVERY address, wish I could share how you have touched me & blessed me.  Since I do not, I tried to do the next best thing.  Create a Christmas thank you card & Ornament to share with each one of you.  True, there is one ornament & one card, but I truly, with all my heart, created this card & ornament as though I was going to hand-deliver it to you, each one of you, individually.  Thinking of all the amazing friendships you have blessed me with this year, I thank you with ALL my heart, truly, with ALL of me, I am blessed.

Embellish-ing Fridays (a wee bit early)

 I will be out of town all weekend, leaving tomorrow morning, so I am posting my projects for Embellish It On-line a little bit early.  I would normally "schedule" my post but since I won't be home, I will be unavailable to fix the post if it glitches or for some reason doesn't post.  (We have been having huge snowstorms too, so I don't want to risk it....giggle)

 

Thank you, all, so very much for all the emails this last week, you'll never know how much all of them mean to me.  I have met the most incredible people through this shared love & I thank you, all, with all my heart.  Want to say a quick "Hi Julie" if she's reading this, I was so happy to hear that you liked your card, tickled me pink to know you stopped to pick up one, thank you, thank you!

 

I can not tell you how much I love the American Crafts Merrymint line of Christmas paper & embellies.  I love whimsical lines, bright & fun lines & this is all of those in one line, oh my!

As I was cleaning up my desk, getting ready for our weekend, I came acrossed a lot of little K & Co. Peppermint Twist, American Crafts Merrymint & Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly paper scraps & embellies, as we all do.  Some of these paper scraps were square, some rectangle, some big, some just a little strip.  I didn't want to place them all in a bag & would never throw away such gorgeous pieces, so I created patch-work cards with them.

Embellish-ing Fridays (no tags....giggle)

Hi!  How was your week?  I know a few of my sweet friends weren't feeling well, you know who you are ;)  and I hope & pray you are beginning to feel better.  I really feel for anyone, especially mommies/grandmas, who are sick this time of year.  I know, anytime isn't good for mommies/grandmas,  but there is much to be done to make things special for everyone & feeling, well under the weather, doesn't help to get those necessary things done.  So, please know, you are in my prayers for a very, very speedy recovery (((hugs)))

Starbucks Via Gift Set & Card

Good Morning! 

 

We had the most amazing week with the wee babes (they had the whole week off).  We woke up to a foot of snow on Saturday & it continued to snow most of the day.  Today, the kids had beautiful blue skies & a blanket of snow to sled up & down our sloped driveway.  They had the BEST time & I felt complete watching them with hubby. 

 

And......

 

I finished all 130 Christmas tags for hubby's staff party...."'noddin my head like yeah"..... right Michelle?  ;) I am happy, happy today.  No, it's not because I have a break, it's because I set a goal & accomplished it, early.  Last night, I began my work on the banquet tomorrow night.  Picture centerpieces.  I began with a little spring in my cutting hand :)

 

I would like to share a Christmas gift set today.  I do have so many more tags to share if you are going to be creating tags, okay, a lot of tags to share, but today I want to share this gift set because well, I LOVE these little Starbucks Via packets.  I needed to ship my sister & brother's Christmas presents this week so I had to get everything ready to go.  These are included in their gifts, they love coffee like I do....swooon!  I am not normally an "instant coffee" person, but love to have "good coffee" when we travel on all of our many sports trips with the wee babes.  We travel a long ways for some of these & so it's nice to have a nice cup of coffee to keep you awake.  I like to carry these because then all you need is to stop where there is some hot water, pay for your hot water & then you have a nice cup of coffee.  (I only use 1/2 a packet per cup of coffee, I am a lightweight & do not  like Starbucks coffee full strength)

So, when I brought home these cute little Starbucks Via packets, I wanted to create my own packaging to "dress them up a little" for Christmas.  I do so love that little latte cup on the front, but I wanted to have a "Christmas feel" to them for my gifts.

October Afternoon *Very Merry* Christmas Cards

What am I talking about?  Well, I had planned on sharing tags today, but I woke up & when I went to edit pics, I edited pics of October Afternoon Very Merry Christmas Cards first, so that's what I am uploading here today.  I will share tags on "Black Friday" & continue to share tags....giggle

 

I received the Very Merry line of papers & embellies in the mail & went right to work creating tags & Christmas cards.  I can NOT tell you how much I loooove this line.  I love everything OA ;) but this line is so much fun to work with, oh my.  Especially THIS, THIS, THIS, THESE...okay, ALL of it.  swooooon!  I love Christmas, really love it, so I love to have lines of papers that make me so happy when creating & this is one of those lines.  I have 4 wee babes & this line makes me think of everything they love, sweets, gingerbread houses/men, being together at home, candies, snowmen, santa, kids, okay all of it!

(i have to share a little confession with you, a piece of me if you will, i love this time of year, everything from fall to winter, love it.  and, part of the reason i love it so, is because i LOVE coffee & LOVE cocoas.  i love warm drinks that you can sit with the wee babes & play a game, create gifts for loved ones while you sip a warm drink or sit with hubby & talk about the day over a warm cup of either.  so when i saw this image & wonderful phrase (always have loved this one) i HAD to put the two together)

(one more piece of me, lucky you ;).  i LOVE to be home with my family.  i am the happiest when we are home together, i love every minute of it & cherish the noises, sounds, commotion & yes, even the mess, it is JOB SECURITY, as i tell hubby all the time.....giggle.)

 

I hope you, ALL, have a very blessed Thanksgiving.  I do want to share with you that I am so very, very thankful that you visit me & share with me.  I LOVE your notes, comments and/or emails, they always warm my heart & fill me with complete joy.  To be able to share this love of creating with so many people I would otherwise not know is an amazing gift & blessing, one I count every day & tomorrow will be no exception.  Dancing with the mop, bathing dishes, & shining cupboards is a task better hummed to, after a visit from you.  It's a gift each morning to wake up & start your day with friendship, a gift from you to me, one I am so very thankful for, you truly, have no idea!

Embellish-ing Fridays (a tad bit early)

The WOLVES football team made it to the STATE playoff game THIS Saturday.  We will be playing @ noon & I could NOT be more proud of the boys.  They have worked so hard on and off the field for this incredible opportunity & they have truly earned it!  Tomorrow, I will be baking cookies for their dinner (carb-load night) & making their fruit kabobs to go with their breakfast burritos on game day.  With all of this excitement & preparation, I wanted to go ahead and post my projects for Embellishing Fridays this week @ Embellish It On-Line.   I, also, want to thank ALL of you for your amazing emails & notes here on the blog.  I have answered a couple of questions but I have not gotten to all of them this week with everything going on.  Please know that I intend to respond to any/all of them just as soon as things calm down after this weekend.  I DO want to tell you that these notes, notes from you, notes from friends, have made my absolute week.  It has been uplifting & oh so comforting to read each & every one, so I thank you with all my ♥♥♥!

For my projects this week, to continue with my theme, I wanted to share projects "gifting gift cards"  I must make a wee bit of a confession.... I do not generally give gift cards.  However, there have been times I have & I have found myself gifting a couple this year because that was a request for certain projects & ideas the recipient has in-mind.  So, with that thought in-mind, I had to figure some packaging for my gift cards, you know using my supplies & giving me "creating time"....giggle

I created 4 different packages for gift cards, 2 with Pink Paislee's Mistletoe line & 2 with Imaginisce's Polar Expressions line.  I absolutely ADORE these two lines, & for very different reasons.  I do not have a "theme" to my Christmas decorations or tree, every person in my family is unique & I like to create gifts/packaging that reflect their personality when placing them under the tree, with love.  I love the "fun/winter/cutesy" feel to the Imaginisce line & everything about the Mistletoe line is my mother & grandmother (especially the blue) so it was fun to think of them when creating.

Sometimes, especially with kids, if I decide to give a gift card, I will gift a gift card with a little gift too.  I have included a set of sports wristbands with a gift card to Scheels before, or a little action figure to go with a gift card to Toys R Us.  These are the kinds of boxes I create with a little tag & place for the gift card.   

 
 

And THIS template makes the cuuuutest gift card holders.  Simply print, cut out & adhere together, then slip the gift card inside & tie closed.  swooooon!
