I dreamed of a wedding of elaborate elegance,
A church filled with family and friends.
I asked him what kind of a wedding he wished for,
He said one that would make me his wife.

swoon!
I picked this quote because it reminds me of my best friend in the ENTIRE world, my husband. He doesn't care what I have or will want so long as we are, really are. Oh how I love this man & I LOVE this quote! (I did NOT dream of an elaborate wedding, I dreamed of a family celebration & a barbeque & that's exactly what we had, oh how I love this man!)
It's with all these thoughts in-mind that I bring you my creations for the next challenge @ Cuttlebug Challenges this week.
The challenge:
Create a Wedding/Anniversary project
And our incredible sponsor this week for this challenge is
The winner of this week's challenge will receive a set of die-cuts. So, get your best gowns out, dust them off & let's celebrate....giggle
Okay CONFESSION time!
It's a wee one.
Ready?
I requested the Tuxedo Box and when I received it, I was so excited to put the ADORABLE little box together (and I mean ADORABLE) So, I put it together & sat there looking at it, completely satisfied with myself, enjoying every little detail, so cuuuuute. Only one little problem....
I hadn't decorated or done a thing with it. I was utterly satisfied just looking at it! Seriously? Yes! That's my confession. (these boxes are so cuuuuute, I almost forgot my "designer" role in all of this)
So, when I "came around" I began trying to think of how people COULD purchase/use these die-cuts
year-round instead of once or twice (wedding favors), hence, the idea to cut
it apart from the front flap & create a gift tin instead of a favor box. Now, I KNOW that breaks every rule in the book for a "favor box" but I really wanted to figure how I could continue to purchase these little cutie pies....giggle.
Some other ideas with cutting the favor box apart:
gift bag embellies, cards, layout embellishments, cupcake toppers, etc..
His & Hers Wedding Gift Tins
(click pics to enlarge)
I didn't want to just create a "groom's tin" because you wouldn't be attending one of their "showers" & wouldn't give just a "groom's tin" for the wedding gift...giggle So, I used my hand-drawn wedding gown silhouette that I use for my wedding cards, to create the "bride's tin". I didn't have a "wedding gown" die-cut this week or I would've used that on the front of that tin.

You are killing me! Ever since I found you and your blog, I've been blown away. The bride and groom gift boxes are beautiful, but the teacher gifts are what have me drooling today. So beautifully coordinated and the packaging alone would be a gift for the teachers.
